Iranian Citizen Services — Effective Date: June 21, 2026

1. About Us

Iranian Citizen Services (“ICS”) is a registered company in the State of California operating as Salamat & Associates LLC, doing business as Iranian Citizen Services. ICS provides document preparation and consulting services to members of the Iranian diaspora in the United States and Canada.

2. Services Provided

ICS prepares, organizes, and reviews documents required for Iranian consular services including but not limited to passport renewal, birth certificate issuance, citizenship registration, marriage registration, divorce registration, and power of attorney.

ICS is a document preparation service only. All prepared documents are delivered to the client in PDF format. The client is responsible for printing, reviewing, and submitting documents to the appropriate authority.

3. No Affiliation with Iranian Government

ICS is not affiliated with the Iranian Interests Section at the Pakistani Embassy in Washington, D.C., the Islamic Republic of Iran, or any Iranian government agency. ICS has no authority over, and no relationship with, any Iranian consular office.

ICS does not guaranteethat the Iranian Interests Section or any Iranian government office will process, approve, respond to, or complete any application. Processing times, approvals, and outcomes are entirely at the discretion of the relevant Iranian authorities and are beyond ICS’s control.

4. Not Legal Advice

Nothing provided by ICS — including consultations, document preparation, written communications, or website content — constitutes legal advice. ICS is not a law firm and no attorney-client relationship is created by engaging ICS’s services. For legal advice, please consult a licensed attorney.

5. Client Responsibilities

By engaging ICS, the client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information and documents
  • Print and mail all prepared documents to the appropriate authority themselves
  • Pay all Iranian consular fees, postage, and money orders directly to the relevant office — these fees are not included in ICS service fees
  • Attend any scheduled appointments (including Power of Attorney Zoom appointments) on time and ensure they have the technical ability to participate via Zoom

6. Fees & Payment

ICS fees cover document preparation services only. They do not include:

  • Iranian Interests Section or consular filing fees
  • Postage or courier costs
  • Notarization fees charged by third parties
  • Any fees charged by the Iranian government

All applicable Iranian government fees must be paid separately and directly to the Iranian Interests Section or relevant authority.

7. Refund Policy

All fees paid to ICS are non-refundable once work has commenced. Specifically:

  • No refund once documents have been prepared and delivered to the client in any format (PDF, email, or otherwise)
  • No refund if the Iranian Interests Section or any government office fails to respond, delays processing, rejects an application, or does not complete the requested service — these outcomes are outside ICS's control
  • No refund if the client provided incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information. Any rework required due to client error will be charged as a new service at the full applicable fee
  • No refund if the client fails to attend a scheduled appointment

8. Power of Attorney Services

Power of Attorney (Vekalatnameh) appointments are conducted online via Zoom. The client is responsible for ensuring they have a working device, stable internet connection, and the ability to use Zoom prior to their scheduled appointment.

ICS is not responsible for missed or incomplete appointments due to the client’s inability to access or use Zoom, technical difficulties on the client’s end, or failure to attend at the scheduled time. Missed appointments are the sole responsibility of the client. ICS will not arrange replacement appointments free of charge.

9. Document Submission

ICS does not submit documents to the Iranian Interests Section or any government office on behalf of the client. ICS prepares documents and delivers them digitally. The client is solely responsible for:

  • Printing all documents
  • Assembling the complete package
  • Mailing or delivering documents to the appropriate office
  • Tracking and following up on their submission

10. Accuracy of Information

The client is solely responsible for the accuracy of all information provided to ICS. ICS prepares documents based on the information supplied by the client. ICS is not liable for errors, rejections, or delays resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ICS’s total liability for any claim arising from its services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. ICS is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages of any kind.

12. Changes to These Terms

ICS reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted at iraniancitizen.com/terms with an updated effective date. Continued use of ICS services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
