Iranian Citizens Services offers document preparation and registration of applications for passports, birth certificates, power of attorney, and other matters related to the Iranian Interest Section in Washington DC.

Iranian Birth Certificate

There are many reasons you may want to renew your Iranian Birth Certificate and each reason requires several supporting documents. 

The process for obtaining or renewing an Iranian Birth Certificate can be very complex and must be done carefully to avoid long unnecessary delays.

On the Office of Iranian Affairs website, there are more than 20 reasons, you may need to replace your Birth Certificate.

We will file your application and guide you to gather required documents. Contact us today, so we can provide you with the necessary guidance tailored to your need.

Required Documents:

  • Original Birth Certificate of Mother and Father

  • Original Birth Certificate of applicant

  • Copy of National ID card of Mother and Father

  • Copy of applicant's US passport

Once you have all the above documents available, please fill-out and submit our online form to start your request.

Step1:  We register your request with Iranian Foreign Ministry Office (Learn more)

Step 2: We prepare form 001 required by the Iranian authorities

Step 3: Depending on your requirement, there will be a supporting form from the list below.

​1. New cert / Lost / stolen

2. Destroyed

3. Over 15 year old must replace old with a new cert.

4. Adoption

5. Marriage / Divorce

6. Death or transfer of body to Iran

7. Police clearance report

Step 4: We provide you with information about  necessary logistic and mailing instructions with the Office of Iranian Affairs in Washington, DC

Finally, you will receive your documents by mail from the Iranian Affairs office in Washington DC
